SUNBURST METALWORKS is the sculpture studio of Gary Jackson.

Working mainly in industrial-strength stainless steel and bronze, Gary creates wildlife sculpture and artfully crafted metal signs, often combining these two art forms. He also enjoys creating functional, utilitarian objects – in a very artful way.

“Since 1982 I’ve been creating sculpture, murals, signage, garden art, custom furniture and architectural fittings from metal. My projects have ranged from small garden memorials to large scale public commissions. Working with architects, developers and contractors, interior designers and private clients, I’ve earned a reputation as a creative and professional, skilled artist/craftsman.

My work is fabricated construction, as opposed to being cast into a mold. I cut and weld metal shapes to form an assembly. Each piece can be finished in any number of ways – polished, textured, patinated, painted or left unfinished to weather naturally. Most are one-of-a-kind works; some are created in limited editions.
